Woah! How is today already Black Friday? Here in the states Black Friday is the day after Thanksgiving. It’s the busiest shopping day of the year and is when the real Christmas craze begins. It can be a really fun time but also highly stressful.
I have mixed feelings on the whole event of the day. I love the idea of a good shopping binge, but on the other hand–do we REALLY need all of these extra trinkets? I hope you’re out there having fun and remaining grateful wherever you are in your day!
This weeks Feel the Love is allllllllllllll about gratitude. I am so blessed to have such an amazing family. As hubby and I are transitioning into a new home and a new breath of life into the city we once loved, we have enormous support and love. We seriously couldn’t be any more blessed with the family we have an I am eternally grateful. As I watched Hunger Games last night, I heard Haymitch say to Katniss, “you could live 1,000 lifetimes and never deserve that boy,” I was wondering what we did to deserve such love. I’m not sure, but I’m willing to live a life of service and gratitude in return!
This week was amazing. A few pay it forwards experiences:
Bought gram flowers
Paid a meter on my way apartment hunting
Picking up a lost baby toy
Talking to a stranger who looked like they may have needed a hug
Big tips
The little things:
Bumming Karthik and gram and quite frankly anyone who will let me (bumming is me putting my cold feet under someone while we watch TV), errand day with my dad, deliious food, apartment hunting, planning our move, Hunger games, belly laughs, yoga on thanksgiving and reconnecting with old friends, the comfort of home and my mother in law offering to let me put our tree in her home this year so we can have Christmas durning our move!
I hope your Friday is full of love. Keep paying it forward, make your blessings count and feel the love!
Get out there, do yoga & make life sparkle!
Namaste
