Magical Monday’s: Sit back & relax

Sometimes our biggest fears and obstacles are life’s biggest gifts. Live, love & let go to the world around you.

Some Monday’s are tough —  even for me to handle —  and I LOVE Monday’s… I really do. Let’s just say my resting bitch face was so active at the gas station that the gentleman who pumped my gas asked me if I had a case of the Monday’s….WOAH!

With that said, there isn’t any reason for me to not count my blessings. This week was full of old friends, meeting with loved ones, weekend mini-day trip adventures and a whole hell of a lot of slowing down. It was time to come back to my spiritual self and rediscover why I’m meant to be here. I enjoyed walking the beach, being on my mat, teaching, being in nature with a dear friend and a sunset, seeing my old mentor, cuddling with my very best friend, naps and plenty of time for self-love.

The Little Things

My big surprise (coming soon — I have a few actually!!), writing, being very quiet and still, listening to my body, not talking for a while (what? me? –yes, quiet is sometimes so good for your soul), asking hard questions and digging really deep for answers, sunset beach walks with an amazing friend, ptown beach walks with Apollo & Karthik, taking more yoga, dinner with Ms. Marano — my high school drama teacher & biggest mentor, meeting Meagan’s fiance’ for the first time, new waterproof make-up, Apollo eating lunch with us (and probably eating more of my lunch then I did…), Apollo walking and shopping with us in Ptown for a mini-day trip, church, naps, Power Yoga of Cape Cod Dennisport’s grand opening and much more.

No matter where you are in life, count your blessings. You are here. You are present. You are beautiful.

Get out there– do yoga — PLAY — and make life sparkle!
Sat Nam,
Jenny

I agree that our fears and obstacles do become a gift, but we don’t see that until we’ve overcome them.  The whole point of our fears and obstacles is to learn a lesson, and that lesson will help and grow and become a much more amazing person.  🙂
