Today you are in for a real treat! Elena Lipson is a Divine Self Care Mentor and someone I truly admire. She is on a similarly blazing path in the realm of self-love and self-care and I am blessed to call her not only a colleague, but also a friend.
Elena is a beautiful soul. She is funny, sweet, kind and always giving. Her videos make me giggle and her love is overpowering. As she speaks to her clients, you can feel the magic in her voice and the love deep inside.
It is a pleasure to introduce you to the divine mentor herself!! Without further ado, let’s learn a little more about Elena and why she joined in The Ahimsa Project.
1. Why did you want to be a part of The Ahimsa Project? What was it that pulled you in?
I believe deeply that when a woman learns to love herself, every bit of herself, that everything else in her life will shift. Once self-love is a practice you will also be more likely to say yes and no to requests and pulls on your time and energy, from your heart instead of the response coming from a sense of responsibility or guilt.
I was pulled instantly into the Ahimsa Project because this project is so closely aligned with my work to teach women that Self-Care is a beautiful way to walk through life and work. Self-Love & Self-Care are deeply aligned and connected.
2. If you were stranded on a desert island and could only bring 5 things, what would they be? …and also, what’s the one thing you would consciously leave behind?
I love this question because it make me think and feel into what I cannot truly do without. Besides my son and husband, the 5 things I would bring are:
1 – My Ukelele – I could entertain myself for hours.
2 – My favorite book, a collection of thoughts by Joseph Campbell that was gifted to me by a dear friend.
3 – Set of drawing pencils so I can create. (I guess I’d have to find some leaves to draw & write on :)) – but that is my creative outlet.
4 – A set of waterproof matches – that’s my practical side coming out.
5 – My all purpose Swiss Army Knife – because I watched survivor and know that it would help ;))
And the thing I’d maybe leave behind is my computer. I would love to be in a place of creating in a new more simplistic way. I guess it would challenge me to see life, the world and myself differently if technology was not the main source of my work, my creative output and my day.
3. If you could write a love letter to your 14 year old self — what would it say?
Dear Elena,
You are beautiful and whole just the way you are. You know just how to light up a room and people around you with your intuition and your big heart. Keep singing, keep dancing, keep playing, follow your dreams, everything is going to be amazing. There will be some bumps, some loss, and some tears along the way, all of these will continue to create your inner strength and resilience. I love your energy, your brave heart, and your willingness to step up on stage and just go for it. Your smile and laughter light up a room because you are made from love. You are not alone, you are always guided and supported. Rock on girl!
Love,
Me
4. What’s your favorite self-love activity?
The simple daily act of asking what I need most, then listening deeply to my intuition by creating stillness and space for my inner-wisdom and the divine guidance that leads me through life. Then, I trust the guidance even in the face of my own doubt. I’m learning to embrace the unknown. The other way I love ME is by creating circles of women and friends around myself where we can all support each other, and then committing to spending time together around ritual, laughter and beautiful deep conversation.
5. What is one thing you want the world to know?
You are SO worth it and SO loved. It’s all going to be OK…just keep putting one foot in front of the other and take Divine Care of YOU.
6. What’s your favorite treat?
I LOVE my husband’s paleo vegan chocolate cookies that he makes from scratch, with a scoop of coconut milk ice-cream. YUM!!!

What a lovely interview, and wonderful to learn more about the magical and beautiful Elena, and this amazing project! I LOVE the idea of asking yourself, “what do I need most?” everyday, and allowing for stillness to tune into the answers, and going from there…makes so much sense to start with that. I am beyond giddy and honored to have self-loving women warriors like you in my reality!!! Thank you for this, Jenny!!! And P.S. that treat sounds WOW, and I will be trying some myself! <3
Hi Eyenie,
I love your comment and response and how deeply this resonates for you. Conscious mamas in business often forget to schedule time for THEMSELVES to play, dance and just be.
Rock on gorgeous mama!
What do YOU need most today?
